2009年5月13日，eMule电骡七岁了！在eDonkey电驴被判决“死刑”4年后，执行“死刑”3年后，电骡这个未经授权的仿制者迎来了自己七岁的生日。

感谢那些偏执的程序员，因为他们用自己的业余时间来维持着eMule的成长却从来不求任何回报，
感谢emule-project，因为它让emule没有成为个别投机人士谋一己私利的工具，
感谢x-man，leuk_he，stulle，david，gomez，avi3k，zzfly等等等等那些现在和曾经制作emule mod和emule工具的作者，他们让emule世界如此丰富多彩，
感谢那些为emule-project做出过无私贡献的来自世界各地的不知名的人们，
感谢所有热爱emule和emule-project的人们，
同时也缅怀edonkey，感谢Jed.McCaleb和Sam.Yagan他们为我们带来了最好的文件共享网络，并且没有追究mldonkey，emule等客户端对ed2k网络的“侵权行为”。
当工业巨头们为电驴的“死刑”判决而欢呼雀跃的时候，却对emule束手无策，到底应该起诉谁呢?起诉软件的作者吗?起诉emule-project吗？他们所要追捕的对象连个影子都看不到。
